Frequently Asked Questions.
We understand that coming into a new space for the first time can be daunting. We are here to ensure your visit to MIND is as supportive and comfortable as possible. Please see below for a list of Frequently Asked Questions.
I don't have a membership, can I still attend?
Whilst having a membership is the cheapest way to attend the studio regularly, you do not have to have a membership to attend a class. Simply head over to our timetable to book a drop in session from £14.

Is there somewhere I can change?
Yes. MIND is equipped with a gender-neutral downstairs changing area for those that wish to change before or after a class. This is also the area that you can place your belongings during class.

Do you have a toilet?
Yes. We have a gender neutral bathroom located on the first floor of the studio. We apologise, but at this moment we do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet.

I'm running late, can I still come in?
We have a strict no lateness policy, and therefore no admittance will be granted once the class begins. This is due to the fact that our entrance opens directly into the practice space, and late admissions cause significant disturbance. If the door is locked when you arrive, this means that the class has started. Please do not knock on or rattle the door.

I've never been to a yoga or Pilates class before. Which class should I attend?
Yoga and Pilates classes can vary significantly depending on the class title. We generally welcome people of all levels to every class - simply let your teacher know if you are new to yoga or Pilates, and we will do our best to support you. If you are looking to start with something slow and relaxing, we recommend 'yin' 'restorative yoga' 'slow flow' and 'flow and restore'. All of these classes are types of yoga which have a more gentle pace in comparison to more dynamic practices. Dynamic Vinyasa, Mat Pilates, Barre Pilates and Saturday strong are more dynamic classes designed to build a little more heat. For more in-depth descriptions of each class, head over to the book a class section of our site.

I have an injury, can I still come to class?
We don't recommend coming to class with an injury unless you have been given the go ahead by a medical professional. If you have - please let your teacher know at the start of the class, and we will do our best to support you with extra props and modifications. While gentle movement can be great for the rehabilitation of injuries, please be reminded that we are not medical professionals and cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained or worsened in our sessions. As a general rule of thumb - come to class if you feel comfortable modifying for yourself, or sitting out of certain exercises or poses.

I missed my class, can I get a refund?
If you purchased a one-off class or booked using a 'class pack' credit, we unfortunately cannot refund or reinstate missed classes. This is due to the fact that your place could have been taken by another paying customer. More information regarding our cancellation policy can be found within our Terms and Conditions.
