Frequently Asked Questions 

We understand that coming into a new space for the first time can be daunting. We are here to ensure your visit to MIND is as supportive and comfortable as possible. Please see below for a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

I don't have a membership, can I still attend?

Whilst having a membership is the cheapest way to attend the studio regularly, you do not have to have a membership to attend a  class. Simply head over to our timetable to book a drop in session from £14.

Yoga Instructor

Do you have a toilet?

Yes. We have a gender neutral bathroom located on the first floor of the studio. We apologise, but at this moment we do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet. 

Stretching

Is there somewhere I can change?

Yes. MIND is equipped with a gender-neutral downstairs changing area for those that wish to change before or after a class. There are bag and coat hooks, along with shoes storage in our reception area for those that wish to whip in and out.

Yoga Class

I've never been to yoga before. Which class should I attend?

At MIND we welcome people of all levels to every class. If however, you would like to begin slowly, we have a weekly 'Yoga for Beginners' class every Thursday. Head on over to our Timetable for more information about our classes. 

Hatha

I'm running late, can I still come in?

Unfortunately no admittance will be accepted after 5 minutes into class. This is out of respect for your teacher and fellow students to practice free of disturbances. After 5 minutes the studio door is locked and you will not be able to gain access.

Sukhasana

How can I hire a studio space?

We have a second smaller studio which is available to hire by the hour, day, or half day. On occasion, we also hire out our main studio space upon request. We very much encourage and support people from associated industries to hire this space for their own clients. Further information can be found here. 

Yoga Practice

I missed class, can I get a class credit back?

If you purchased a one-off class or booked using a 'class pack' credit, we unfortunately cannot refund or reinstate missed classes with less than 12 hours notice. This is due to the fact that your place could have been taken by another paying customer. More information regarding our cancellation policy can be found within our Terms and Conditions.

How do I purchase a class or membership?

All information on prices and membership can be found here. Once you have purchased a membership or class pack, you can book a space by heading over to our Timetable and selecting your preferred class.
